My first post.

Today I have been trying to learn how this blogging thing works. I found so many blogs from such talented people, their work leaves me inspired & in awe.
I should have been unpacking my craft boxes so I can start a new project. We recently moved into our new home and I have outgrow it already with the craft boxes I have unpacked already and that's not even half of them. I think I need a studio, hmmm maybe one day.
I started reading one of my Patti Medaris Culea books, I intend to try out one of her dolls as my second doll. Her books and dolls patterns are one of my treasured assets, I highly recommend them. I love so many designers and have bought a lot of patterns ready for my new venture. I just have to finishing unpacking them.
The first doll I made was a Rainforest elf by Lynne Butcher, even though it wasn't perfect he had a character of his own. I gave him dreadlocks complete with beads, my youngest daughter, Tiarna claimed him immediately and loved him. Unfortunately my 4 year old granddaughter Ebonny, took a liking to him & his beaded dreadlocks and gave him his first haircut. Of course Tiarna was not impressed. I will just have to put them back, this time they will be a little shorter.
